Things That Are Better Than Money (part 6)

No Justice, no peace – but money is not: the product of justice is peace – but money is not. Justice gives birth to peace but money is not. Justice brings forth peace whereas money has full potential and capacity to cause and bring forth trouble (s). Where there is no Justice, there is no peace; but where there is no Justice, money is always available even to breed injustice!
How does God use peace as a powerful and potent tool or weapon?
Before answering the above question, let us have this spiritual understanding: peace eludes any zone having theatres of war but normal social and business activities always return and restore after giving room to the presence of peace.
During the theatres of war, money is always there with people but it is peace that would make money to be put into normal social and business (economic ) activities. You must not permit any form of theatres of war internally in your heart if you want divine peace. This tells us that peace is better than money, and it tells the reason why God uses peace as a powerful and potent tool or weapon.
Now let us look at how God uses peace as a powerful and potent tool or weapon.
Peace is a powerful divine tool God uses in communicating with His children – the moment a true child of God learns to trust God, life will become beautiful because he or she will begin to experience a kind of peace he or she never knew existed. Job trusted in God during his tough trial – and the peace of God saw him through , that is, it is peace of God that saw him through (and NOT money ) : Job 13:15 “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.”
There are two points here: (1) Trust in God brings peace into someone’s heart. (2) After trusting God, maintaining your ways before God also means peace – your are not troubled because you know that God will never disappoint and fail ; He (God ) is ever present help in time of trouble : Psalms 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
God uses peace to see us through when we find ourselves in danger – in the valley of death : Psalms 23:4 “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” That “comfort ” represents peace that God supplies His children while passing through the valley of the shadow of death, that is, in danger. God does not give money while passing through the valley of the shadow of death but comfort (peace ). This tells us that peace is better than money.
When God said in 1 Peter 3:11 that we should seek and pursue peace, He (God) is saying we should occupy our heart with peace by loving peace greatly from bottom of the heart because the love of money is the root of all evil (1 Timothy 6 :10) and since He uses peace as a tool to relate to us. This also tells us that peace is better than money.
Therefore we should let and allow the love of peace to replace the love of money in our individual hearts collectively so that everyone one can live in peace and with love. Why? Because God will use peace to talk us when we want to hear from Him : Psalms 85:8 “I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints……”
When seeking the face of God on any issue and we want to verify to know whether the voice we hear or message we receive is from God or not, it is through peace of mind we know – it is never through money. This tells us that peace is better than money.
If someone is genuinely born again, God will use peace from the joy of salvation to minister peace of mind to his or her heart because salvation of a single soul is more than all the money in the world and this causes unspeakable and great joy in the presence of God in Heaven – Matthew 16:26 and Luke 15:7, 10, “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.”
What we desire here on the surface of the earth that is very important is peace as declared in the Bible in Luke 2:14 KJV
“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” Here in Luke 2:14 says ” on earth peace ” the scripture didn’t say “on earth money!” Peace on earth is better than money on earth. Although money is good but peace is better!!
