The current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory(FCT) and immediate past governor of Rivers state has stirred reaction on social media, following a photo of him and his son, which he posted on X.com on Tiesday, disclosing that the latter recently earned his Master of Laws(LLM) degree at the Queen Mary University of Londan in the United Kingdom.
He wrote, “Happy to witness, alongside my wife, the graduation ceremony of our son, Jordan, who just earned a Master of Laws (LLM) degree at Queen Mary University of London, UK.
“As a father, I am happy for the progress Jordan is making in the pursuit of his career.”
Reacting to the post, Omoyele Sowore, publisher of Sahara reporters wrote, “Nyesom Wike served as local government Chairman for two terms, Minister of Education for four years, and Governor of Rivers State for two terms, totaling eight years. He is currently the FCT Minister, yet he sends his children to schools in the UK after the destruction of education in Nigeria and with funds stolen from the masses.
“You were governor for eight years in Rivers state, one of Nigeria’s wealthiest states. You looted the state dry and couldn’t build a single school where your children could earn a master in law. What a crying shame!.
