Armed robbers,on Friday, invaded the residence of Mr Amaechi Okonkwo, the Chairman of the Federated Correspondents Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ); Rivers state Council, at Eneka area of Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital.
The robbers were said to have attacked the place at about 3:00am in the morning.
According to the information provided by the Chairman, the robbers stormed his residence fully armed and robbed his household and other residents and went away with the Union bus.
A statement by Mr. Ike Wigodo, Secretary, NUJ Rivers State Council urged members of the public who happen to sight the vehicle anywhere to contact the police or the NUJ, Rivers State Council.
