A man of God popularly known in Rivers state for predicting events, Prophet Gobari Uebari, has come out to tell Rivers people to hearken to the voice of genuine prophets if they are to save the state from calamity.
In an interview with Metronetworknews, the prophet said development in the state and Nigeria portends danger to the nation and cautioned the people to listen to the predictions of those God sent over the affairs of men.
Uebari who is the founder of Safety Ark Ministry, Port Harcourt, said Rivers state’s greatest need at the moment is a God-sent prophet and not any politician who will rule the state by his own ability.
His words; “Rivers state is barren as we speak now. The state is barren no matter what you are seeing. Look at what is happening.
“Politician are turning everything into politics even when there is good counseling. Everything now is kill and divide. Have you been hearing the Governor of the state lately?
“When the land is barren, nothing works, everything stands still, you can’t do anything.
“Right now, we need God.It’s not all about election. After election, it will still be there.
“The state needs a prophet. The bible says by a prophet they are brought out of Egypt and by a prophet they are preserved. If Rivers state will be preserved, it needs a prophet. The prophet may not be an anointed man of God in quote. He can be a politician that is a prophet sent by God. The assignment of that politician will be to redeem the state at a time like this.
” In 2 Kings chapter 2 verse 18 to 22, the people cry to Elisha because the land was barren.
“The people will continue to grin in pains until the hand of God will come to deliver the state”, he said.
