Nigerians have been told to vote out President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress(APC) in 2027.
Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze made the appeal in a statement lending credence to recent comments by Rt. Hon. Amaechi that no insane person in Nigeria would vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Tinubu in 2027, on Wednesday.
Chief Eze said allowing Tinubu to be sworn in, though as a ‘disputed’ democratically elected President, was the greatest mistake made by Nigerians in 2023.
He insisted that Amaechi’s stance is nothing but the bitter truth of the situation of things under the tenure of Tinubu as the President of Nigeria.
“The Tinubu administration has been deposited inside the trash bin of underperforming and hyper clueless Presidents since the emergence of democracy in Nigeria.
“He has disappointed majority of Nigerians, Eze said.
He questioned why any rational Nigerian will vote for a President whose conduct and mission have brought shame, untold hardship and disrepute to Nigeria in the commity of nations.
“Right from the day of his inaugural speech as the 16th President of Nigeria, on May 29, 2023, every right thinking Nigerian, knew that Tinubu had set eyes on re-election and a possible third term rather than settle down to offer purposeful leadership and direction.
“Is it not only a mad man or a thief that will vote a President and a party that do not have any solution to the hydra-headed challenges facing Nigeria in 2027?
“For almost four years in office as a disputed democratically elected President, Nigerians have been faced with barrage of issues associated with insecurity, corruption, nepotism, banditry, kidnapping, hunger, deprivation, unemployment etc, yet Tinubu doesn’t seem to be bothered.
“Again, I ask; who is that Nigerian that will vote for a President and a party that have ravaged, dismembered and doomed the country’s economy due to bad governance and mal administration, Eze queried.
“Honestly, without sentiment, Tinubu’s presidency is the worst and costliest mistake ever made by Nigerians. We have never had it this bad before and it will certainly take a long period for the country to recover from this national calamity, called Tinubu presidency.
“From Tinubu’s inaugural speech, Nigerians with discerning minds knew that the country had boarded a ‘one chance’ vehicle, Eze stated.
