Information reaching our news desk has it that heads of local government administration will take charge of councils from June 18.
It was gathered that this would be part of the state wide broadcast by Gov. Siminalayi Fubara, on Tuesday.
Recall that LG chairmen in the state under the aegis of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria had vowed to remain in office citing the Local Government Amendment Law No 2 of the 2024 by the Martin Amaewhule-led 25 House of Asssembly members, extending their tenure by six months.
