Seventy five new cases of COVID-19 and one death were recorded in Nigeria,the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC), has confirmed.
The NCDC made this known on its website On the 26th of January 2022 , noting that the new infections were recorded from 9 states in the country.
According to it, ehe states include; Lagos (33), Gombe (13), FCT (11), Osun (8), Edo (3), Rivers (3), Plateau (2), Kaduna (1), and Kano (1
The NCDC stated that the number of confirmed cases of the virus in the country currently stands at 252,753, while, 228137 cases have been discharged and 3134 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
