A kalabari born social media commentator, Soso Coterrell has taken to his facebook page to say that Rivers state Governor, Nyesom Wike may ignite a bloody ethnic war between the Ikwerre and the kalabari ethnic groups in the state, before the end of his tenure if he does not tame his tongue to control what he says against the Ijaw people.

Cottererell made the assertion in reaction to comments against some prominent Ijaw sons credited to the governor.

He called on the elders and people of Ikwerre ethnic nationality to prevail on the governor to thread with caution in order not to create ethnic crisis in the state.

His words; This uncircumcised Gov. Nyesom Wike will Ignite a bloody ethnic war between the Ikwerre and the Rivers Ijaws and Kalabari in particular before the end of his government if he is not call to order.

“I am calling on all well meaning Ikwerre people to please advise him to thread with Caution in order not to ignite an Ethnic Crisis or War in this Rivers State between the Ikwerre and the kalabari.

“Wike must be warned and advised to stop his harassment and intimidation of Kalabari people. Yes! We know his passionate and the Ikwerre hatred against the Kalabari but let him be very careful, cause the Kalabari and the Rivers Ijaws are running out of patient with his public utterances against the Ijaws and will soon retaliate if he continues with his uncircumcised lifestyles against the Rivers Ijaws and the Kalabari in particular.

“Why Is he  accusing and harassing an Ijaw son, Arc. Tonye Dele Cole, of receiving money from the state government account during the administration of an Ikwerre Son, Gov. Rotimi .C. Amaechi.

“Was Tonye Dele Cole, Commissioner for Finance during Amaechi’s government? Was Tonye Dele Cole, a political appointee during Amaechi’s government? Was Tonye Dele Cole, a commissioner during the Amaechi’s government? Was Tonye Dele Cole,Access bank manager or CEO during Ameachi’s government? Was Tonye Dele Cole, working with Access bank or the state government during Amaechi’s government ?

“That ethnic war and crisis Wike is looking for in the hands of the Rivers Ijaws and most specifically the Kalabari will soon be given to him, but before that war or crisis will kickoff between the Ikwerre and the Rivers Ijaws, let me, as a friend of the Ikwerre advise them to call the governor  to order to avoid sending their people into an IDP Camp”, he stated.
