Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara says he has nothing against the nine comissioners who dumped him in the heat of the political tussle between Wike and himself.
The governor stated this shortly after swearing in the returnee commissioners into the State Executive Council at Government House in Port Harcourt on Friday.
“I can see how heavy your hearts are. But I assure you that I don’t have anything against anyone of you. You were caught in between during the crossfire.”
“I wish you well in your coming back. Stand for justice, and stand for the interests of our dear state. That is the purpose of your appointment and that is the truth”, the governor advised.
Recall that the commissioners said to be loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory(FCT), Nyesom Wike, earlier resigned their appointment.
However, the Rivers State House of Assembly re-screened and re-confirmed them as part of the agreements contained in the eight-point agenda following the intervention of President Bola Tinibu in the political feud between Wike and Fubara.
