German Based Nigerian Business Mogul Roots For President To Bail Nigeria’s Economy… Recommends Obi

A German based Nigerian business magnate, Chief Sunny Ikeokwu has added his voice in the choice of the President of Nigeria in 2023.

Ikeokwu spoke when he appeared as guest on a zoom meeting entitled ‘The President Nigeria Needs Now”, hosted by Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, which was monitored by Metronetworknews in Abuja.

He said his choice was predicated on a candidate who is focused,capable of creating strong institutions, rallying Nigerians to be productive rather than consumptive.

The business tycoon further said such a leader should be sincere, honest, discipline and ready to work.

He frowned at using old men which he said could affect their diligence to work

Continuing, he said it is surprising that many of the candidates are shy in addressing insecurity, hunger, unemployment and challenges of economy and expressed dismay that some of these old known candidates have no answer to address these issues.

He feared that if there was no timely intervention that Nigeria could go bankrupt and become a failed state.

Chief Ikeokwu said that based on his experience and understanding of the workings of economy abroad, he would advise Nigerians to vote for Peter Obi to give the country hope and make it acceptable to the international community.

His words, “As we all know Nigeria is a blessed country with many potentials. We have people who can take Nigeria to another level and we also have people who don’t believe in the real Nigeria , who think things can go as usual.

“For me, going straight to your question, I think the president Nigeria needs now is a president that is focused; a president that doesn’t believe in creating powerful men but powerful institutions. We need a president that doesn’t believe in consumption but rather in production. We need a president that is sincere, honest, discipline and ready to work from day one.

” Looking at the situation in Nigeria, everybody can bear with me that it is nothing to talk about ,there is insecurity, hunger, unemployment, our economy is going down down every day. We borrow to pay salaries. So what do we need at this particular time Nigeria is almost going bankrupt is a sincere and visionary leader that knows how to manage the economy, create jobs and carry everybody along.

“My personal opinion is this, we have three front liners., Chief Bola Tinubu of APC, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of PDP and Dr. Peter Obi of Labour Party. I will take them one after the other before I come to conclusion. Tinubu was the former governor of Lagos state, even though Lagos was the former capital of Nigeria, but Tinubu helped in creating one of the blue prints that the state is still following to be one of the fastest growing cities in Nigeria. He is a very kind hearted human being. He believes in helping people, that I can give to him. On the other hand, Atiku is very versatile person. He has alot of businesses and schools working for him. He is also good. Then, we have the former governor of Anambra state, Dr. Peter Obi . He is very good in managing economy. He has a rich profile. He performed well in previous positions he had held. For me, Obi is the one that can handle Nigeria and bring it out of the situation we are now. He believes in creating wealthy institutions. He is the kind of leader that Nigeria needs now. Nigeria needs a president that can create strong institutions and the only person that I know that can create this strong institution is Obi”.
