Fingesi commends Rivers economic summit report, advises emphasis on human capital development

He further said with what he read in the media, the committee’s report was comprehensive, touching on different aspects of developmental activities, ranging from setting up an investment promotion agency, resuscitating the Trans-Amadi industrial layout and establishing new industrial business districts, including the agricultural processing zone and a free trade zone in the state.

Fingesi also said what Rivers people need most now is empowerment, creation of jobs and other human capital development initiatives.

The two time ADP guber candidate said time of white elephant projects should be over as that is not the priority of the state.

He called on the state governor to make himself available and listen to useful suggestions that would transform the state.

Fingesi advised him to develop programmes of actions that will itemize his developmental activities and act as a compass for his administration.
