The birthday of former Rivers state first lady, Dame Judith Amaechi, has elicited messages of Goodwill from family members, friends, groups and well wishers across the state, nation and world at large.

From Rivers state, APC Chieftain and former spokesman of new People’s Democratic party(nPDP),Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze and the State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC), have joined friends and millions of associates and admirers all over the world to celebrate the former first lady.

In a message of felicitation made available to media houses in Port Harcourt, the party chief said the need to join friends and family to return thanks to God for the life of Mrs. Amaechi whom he described as a special breed, is urgent.

“It is with great honour and joy that I join family, friends and millions of associates and admirers all over the world to celebrate a quintessential extract of God’s uniqueness and awesome nature, Her Excellency, Dame Judith Amaechi, former Rivers First Lady and wife of Nigeria’s Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi, as she marks her birth 24th December”, he said.

Chief Eze described Mrs. Amaechi as naturally empathetic and values relationships, adding that she appreciates people and their viewpoints and demonstrates passion and rare enthusiasm to serve humanity.

According to him, these special traits and more lend credence to her competence in leadership.

“During the tenure of her husband as Rivers Governor, Judith was indisputably instrumental to the giant strides he made especially, in the areas of education, health and human capacity development with special focus on gender equality”, he noted.

On its part, the Rivers State Chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC, in a statement issued in Port Harcourt and signed by the State Spokesman-elect, Senibo Chris Finebone, congratulated Dame Amaechi and acknowledged her contributions to the successes of her husband and their political Group through the years, from when her husband was a Speaker, Governor and now an Honourable Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“You have greatly inspired us, women, youths, particularly the girl-child and even adults through your pet project, Empowerment Support Initiative, ESI, which has become a household name in Rivers State where, through the organisation, you positively touch lives of the young and old in uncommon ways. We rejoice with you and will always look up to you for inspiring guidance”, the party stated.

It prayed that God would grant her good health to enable her to remain the pillar of support that she has been to them, her husband, family and to render greater service to humanity.
