Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) have reportedly barricaded the Abuja residence of former Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha.
Metronetworknews gathered that the anti-graft agency insisted that Okorocha, who is seeking to contest the presidential election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), should submit himself for arrest following his refusal to honour a long-standing invitation to their office.
A source in the agency said the former governor has been snubbing several invitations extended to him over alleged corruption against him.
Metronetworknews also gathered that none of the members of Okorocha’s family were allowed to leave the compound until they produce the former governor.
It learnt that the operatives screened people going out and coming into the premises as well as warned the mobile policemen attached to Okorocha to withdraw from the residence.
