Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Prof. Yusuf Saidu, has been killed by suspected bandits.
A statement by the university management, disclosed that Prof. Saidu, who was DVC Research, Innovation, and Development at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, was attacked and killed by bandits on his way to Kaduna from Sokoto State.
The statement described his demise as a “painful loss”, stating that the late professor was a man of integrity, religion, dedication, and courage.
