The remains of Port Harcourt based construction giant, Sir (Chief) Okoma kio Isokariari, have been buried in Buguma, the headquarters of Asari Toru Local Government area of Rivers state.
His funeral prayer was offered at the St, Michael’s Anglican church, Buguma city, on Saturday August 5,2023.
People from the business community, political and social personalities, relatives and friends attended his funeral in a large number.
Late Sir Isokariari was an astute business man who built a dynasty in the construction industry which made him well known for his exceptional deliveries and furthered his relationship with prominent leaders and internationational affiliates.
He was also a renowned philantropist who embraced all that came his way.
He joined the Nigerian Railway Corporations in June 1957 where he was trained at the Traffic Training School , Ebutte Metta, Lagos. With the little benefit he received back then, he established O.K. Isokariari (Nig) Limited, a construction company that had built over four hundred buildings from bungalows to various storey building of different heights, including the entire National Fertiliser company of Nigeria (NAFCON) and the 11-floor high rise of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation at Moscow road in Rivers state.
He was called to glory on the 12th day of April, 2023 at age 88.
Late Isokariari was blessed with his wife, Princess Dame Grace O.K Isokariari and numerous children.
