Three soldiers on Monday slumped during the Democracy Day parade at the Eagle Square in Abuja.
Metronetworknews reports that the three military officers who slumped while participating in the parade were immediately rushed to the medical post on the left side of the State Box where President Muhammadu Buhari was seated.
Many believe the victims whose names could not be easily ascertained might have been affected by extreme stress and exhaustion having stood under the scorching sun for long hours.
However, no casualties were recorded as they were successfully treated and soon regained consciousness
The ceremony featured military-police march past in slow and quick time,silent drill display by the Armed Forces and Police, combat display by the Nigerian Army Female Corps, cultural display and playlet by various ethnic groups.
The President, who was the Special Guest of Honour, inspected the guards
Dignitaries who graced the occassion include; former President Goodluck Jonathan, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Presiding Officers of the National Assembly, Service Chiefs, the Chief Justice of the Federation, Ibrahim Tanko and the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Adamu.
Others were; Babagana Kingibe,who was the running mate of the winner of the 1993 presidential election, M.K.O. Abiola, members of the Diplomatic Corps, Youth Corps Members.
