Tears freely flowed as the remains of the Pastor in-charge or Agape Baptist church, Rupkokwu in Rivers state, Rev. Godpower Igonifagha, were committed to mother earth after the funeral service,on Saturday.
Rev. Igonifagha died on the 24th of July,2021 in Port Harcourt.
Prior to the funeral, the church organized a service of songs on Wednesday October 14,2021.
At the funeral service, the sermon was delivered by Rev. Dr. Nkem Osuigwe while, Rev. Timothy Odaya prayed for the family and church.
In his sermon, Rev. Osuigwe urged the congregation to emulate the virtues of the late Rev. Igonifagha.
He emphasised the importance of love and humility as exemplified by the deceased while he was alive.
The 51 year old Reverend was buried at the PortHarcourt cemetery in the old PortHarcourt township area. He was buried in the presence of his widow, children, family members, friends and loved ones.
