Atleast one person was reportedly killed and seven others seriously injured in Maitumbi area of Minna, Niger State capital, after some youths engaged in attacking innocent residents of the city, throughout Friday to early Saturday morning.
It was gathered that it took the intervention of the police to disperse the restive youths
It was learnt that some arrests were made by the security agents.
As at the time of this report, the cause of the youth restiveness was unknown.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Wasiu Abiodun, confirmed the street fights and youth restiveness but said the details were just emerging.
