The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin has told Western countries meeting in Brussels, Belgium not to apply more sanctions against Russia, stating that he does not have ill intention against Ukraine.
The foreign ministers of western countries are gathering in Brussels to consider how to maintain pressure on Russia.
Putin from all indications has lowered guard, repeating previous claims that all actions taking by Russia military so far has been made exclusively in response to unfriendly actions against Russian federation.
He said he saw no need for it neighbours to take further actions that would make their relationship worse.
“I think everyone must think about how to normalise relations, corporate normal and develop relation normally”, he added
He cautioned those opposing Russia’s action in Ukraine not to exaggerate the situation as a prelude to imposing more restrictions on Russia.
