The Enitonna High School Alumni Association has announced plans to unveil a Strategic Development Masterplan for Enitonna High School on Sunday, May 3, 2026.
The event, which will hold during a Presidential Luncheon at the school chapel in Borokiri, is aimed at repositioning the institution for future growth.
National President of the association, Sir Godfrey Ohuabunwa, said the masterplan reflects the commitment of alumni and stakeholders to preserve the school’s heritage while preparing it for future generations.
According to him, the blueprint focuses on infrastructure renewal, academic improvement, digital transformation, student welfare, alumni engagement, and institutional sustainability.
He described the initiative as a major step towards strengthening one of the oldest and most respected secondary schools in the old Rivers and Bayelsa States.
Founded in 1932, Enitonna High School has produced notable personalities across public service, business, academia, media, and other sectors.
The association said the event will also celebrate the legacy of the school and honour distinguished alumni, including Austin Adiele Opara and Mao Ohuabunwa.
The luncheon is expected to attract alumni, traditional rulers, community leaders, education stakeholders, and guests from within and outside Nigeria.
The event will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Enitonna High School Chapel, Borokiri, Port Harcourt.
