A young male apprentice (names withheld) who is undergoing training at a mechanic workshop in Elimgbu axis of Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital, has narrated how he mysteriously found himself in Kidnappers’ den ,after exchanging pleasantries with a passenger in a commercial tricycle.

Narrating his ordeal to Metronetworknews, the victim who hails from Akwa Ibom state, but resides in Port Harcourt, said, ” my boss sent me on an errand to buy electrodes at the steel village in Oyigbo local government area, on Wednesday.

” So, I boded a tricycle known as ‘Keke Napep’going from Tank bus stop to Eleme junction in the city, where I wll take a bus plying oyigbo.

“While in the tricycle, one of the passengers exchanged pleasantries with me.

“The passenger asked me ”Guy, how far now? And  I responded, ” Boy, I dey o! in pidgin English.

“After answering him, I lost consciousness. The next thing I realised was that they took me to a thick forest with my eyes covered with a cloth and my two hands tied together.

“Though, I did not see anybody but I heard people crying around the place where I was kept.

“Three days later, one of the kidnappers came and tapped me on my shoulders and said that I should go.

“They carried me to a bush and left me there. So, I started wandering in the bush until I came to a motorable road where I saw someone whom I  asked about my location and he said that I was at Atali- Igbo Etche in Etche LGA.

” With the help of some villagers, I put a call across to my father who came and picked me to reunite with my family”, he said.
