Rivers council vice chairman applauds pathway of Fubara’s govt

The Vice Chairman of Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area of Rivers State, Dr. Angela Anthony Oju-Kienmie, has commended Gov. Siminalayi Fubara for holding the Rivers State Economic and Investment Summit (RSEIS), with the theme: "Rivers Emerge: Advancing Pathways to Economic Growth and Sustainability''.

The Vice Chairman of Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area of Rivers State, Dr. Angela Anthony Oju-Kienmie, has commended Gov. Siminalayi Fubara for holding the Rivers State Economic and Investment Summit (RSEIS), with the theme: “Rivers Emerge: Advancing Pathways to Economic Growth and Sustainability”.

Oju-Kienmie made the commendation while speaking in an interview with newsmen, on the sideline of the summit which held at Dr Obi Wali International Conference Centre in Port Harcourt on Wednesday.

She said by holding the summit, it was an indication that Gov. Fubara has chosen the right path as economic recovery and prosperity required a well thought-out plan.

The Vice Chairman further said the governor has taken the right path and called on Rivers people across the divide to give him support in order to succeed, pointing out that the success of Fubara is a win-win for Rivers people.

She noted that the governor has set out a road map to ensure effective diversification of the state economy and enhancement of its revenue generation,stressing that he is working assiduously towards industrialisation of the state.

 

Oju-Kienmie added that the governor had embarked on massive road construction and reconstruction in order to attaract investors as well as modern agricultural transformation.

 

” I want to say that in his one year in office, Gov. Fubara has done exceptionally well, considering what he has been doing from the day he assumed office. I believe God, the governor will do exceedingly  great in the future and within his tenure of office”, she said.
