Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in the South-south region, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has expressed scorn for the parallel state congress conducted by Senator Magnus Abe’s faction on Tuesday in Port Harcourt.
In a statement entitled, “Rivers APC Congress: Abe Dares Buhari, Buni, other party leaders by Constituting an illegal Congress and Parallel APC Exco”,which was made available to media houses in Port Harcourt, Eze described the congress as worthless.
He called on members of the public to disregard the faction’s congress, noting that the only legitimate congress that took place in Rivers State on Saturday 16 October 2021, was the one held at Polo Club, Port Harcourt, which produced Chief Emeka Beke as the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Rivers State.
Calling on Sen. Abe, Golden Chioma and their supporters to formally return home, Eze said the huge success recorded on Saturday has undoubtedly moved the Rivers APC from Egypt and placed her on a speed lane to Canaan Land.
“We are close to Canaan, Meet us at the border between Egypt and the Promised Land”, he stated.
The statement read in part; ” An illegal Congress conducted without INEC, reps of national exco and security agencies’ involvement is a mere exhibition of Iberiberism”
” Abe and his Conspirators are Mere Voyagers on a Speed Lane to the Abyss”.
