The Oyo State Executive Council has announced the appointment of the Paramount Ruler of Emuoha Kingdom, HRM Ohna Sergeant Chidi Awuse, as the Chancellor of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr Wasiu Olatubosun.
He explained that the appointment followed a virtual state executive meeting which was held on Tuesday.
Olatubosun said the newly appointed chancellor, a first-class monarch, and respected community leader, would bring his rich experiences in administration to bear on the further transformation of LAUTECH.
The appointment takes immediate effect.
