A social media commentator and erstwhile spokesman of All Progressives Congress(APC) in Rivers state, Barr. Sogbeye Eli has lampooned Alhaji Ahmed Bola Tinubu, APC Presidential aspirant, for bragging about his capacity when he has none.
Eli who took to his Facebook page to tongue lash the APC presidential aspirant, saying he has a history of bragging in public speaking, recalled that this was the same way Tinubu bragged that he will bring ERON to Lagos and nearly 16 years after he left as Governor, the state was still struggling for power supply.
His words, “This Egbon brags about his capacity. His brain. He has reduced the elements of age, health and physical fitness to nothing in the calculations for our next President but the symptoms are already there proving why we should not trust his mental capacity.
“Capacity that proposes the recruitment of 50 million youths into the Army and feed them with Cassava to fight insecurity?
“Capacity that appeals to Nigerians to go and renew their PVCs because the Voter’s card expires?
“Capacity that sees Nigerians tweeting on WhatsApp?
“Capacity that does not know that Issa Pantami is the Honourable Minister for Communications, Information Technology and Digital Economy and called him Minister for Power?
The former interim Spokesman also took a swipe at Tinubu for going after the jugular of President Muhammadu Buhari, at the South-West APC Youth Rally in his support for President.
Said he; ,”When they sound like this just know that they have lost the confidence and support of the outgoing Commander-in-Chief.
“Bola Ahmed Tinubu in trying to use the heads of Nigerian youths whilst speaking at a South-West APC Youth Rally in his support for President in Lagos, went after the jugular of President Muhammadu Buhari.
” He called the challenges this Federal Government says it faces “excuses”!
“He said this Government has failed on delivering electricity and therefore cannot turn around to pooh pooh the youths as lazy.
“This was the same man who promised heaven and earth whilst speaking at Buhari’s campaign ahead of the 2015 elections. Today, he’s seeking to dissociate himself from the challenges that have bedevilled this administration because he wants to satisfy his lifelong ambition to be President.
