A man( names withheld) who resides at Aluu Community in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers, has reportedly hacked his wife to death over sex.
Metro Network News gathered that the deceased identified as a prophetess was said to have been called by her husband to drive home to see him after taking her two kids to school.
On her arrival, he was said to have locked her up, forcefully had sex with her and stabbed her to death in the process and immediately reported the incident at the Divisional Police Headquarters, Aluu, Port Harcourt at about 9:40 pm on Monday.
Metro Network News also gathered that before the incident, the man had been allegedly physically abusing his wife on the ground of denying him sex.
The medium learnt that her parents and siblings had persuaded her to quit the marriage but she refused to heed to them.
The Aluu Divisional Police Officer, ( DPO) Ohiwhere Joseph, confirmed the incident.
He informed that the woman’s remains has been deposited at the morgue while investigation is in top gear to unravel the cause behind the dastardly act.
