The Palastinians President Mahmoud Abbas has said that the Palestinians would not leave Gaza.
This is as the American President Joe Biden reiterated US support for Israel.
Abbas who stated this after the air raid on Al-Ahli Arab hospital in Gaza, last night, pointed out that in the 21st century, the Palestinians will refuse to experience another Nakba and that they will not relocate or give up.
He emphasized that they would remain in their country and would not permit anyone to force them out.
He condemned the targeting of the hospital as a ” Hideous war massacre” that cannot be tolerated, adding that talks about anything else apart from stopping the war were unacceptable.
” Israel has crossed all red lines… we will not leave nor allow anyone to expel us from there,” he said.
Abbas confirmed that he will not be meeting Biden in Annab and said that ” given the massacre that took place tonight” he decided to return to the occupied West Bank and be with his people.
He added that the Palestinians would not acceot another Nakba in the 21st century and that they will not move, or surrender.
”We will not leave our homeland nor allow anyone to expel us from there,’ Abbas said.
Biden told Netanyahu that Washington would provide Israel everything it needed to defend itself amid the continuing war in Gaza.
Biden added that 31 Americans were among the more than 1,400 people killed inside Israel in the October 7 attack.
The Health Ministry in Gaza said on Tuesday that at least 500 people were killed in the air raid on Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in central Gaza.
