Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday that the war between Israel and Hamas would be ‘hard and long but Israel will prevail.
The Israeli Prime minister stated this while addressing a press conference alongside President Joe biden of the United States of Amarica, who is on a diplomatic trip to Israel.
”The road to victory will be long and hard but united in purpose, with a deep sense of justice and the unbrokeable spirit of our soldiers and people, Israel will prevail”, he said.
Speaking further, Netanyahu accused Hamas militants of being behind the deadly Gaza hospital blast and called on the world to direct their outrage on them instead of Israel.
”Hamas is responsible and should be held accountable for all civilian casualties, We saw the cause of this terrible war crime yesterday when a rocket fired by Palestines terrorists misfired and landed on a Palestinian hospital. The entire world was rightly outraged but this outrage should be directed not on Israel but the terrorists”, he said.
He said Israel was working to minimize harm to civilians as well as get all hostages out.
”As we proceed on this war, Israel will do everything it can to keep civilians out of harms way. We have asked them and we will continue to ask them to move to safer areas.
”We will continue to work with you, Mr. President to ensure that the minimal requirements are met and we will continue to work together to get our hostages out”., he said.
In his speech, President Biden said the US will continue to have Israel’s back as it works to defend the people.
”I want you to know you are not alone.
”We will continue to have Israel’s back as you work to defend your people.
”We will continue to work with you and partners across the region to prevent more tragedies of innocent civilians”, Biden said.
Meanwhile, President Joe Biden, has announced $100 million for humanitarian assistance in Gaza.
In a post on his official X handle, the money would support over one million displaced and conflict-affected Palestinians.
“I just announced $100 million for humanitarian assistance in Gaza and the West Bank. This money will support over 1 million displaced and conflict-affected Palestinians. And we will have mechanisms in place so this aid reaches those in need – not Hamas or terrorist groups,” the post read.
