A German based Nigerian Prophetess, Sister Susan Ikeokwu, has called on the Igbo to seek the face of God to direct for a new role in their struggle for self determination.
Speaking on her YouTube channel, the prophetess said that the emancipation of the Igbo was in phases and that Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), had accomplished the first phase by speaking out boldly about their marginalization and raising the consciousness for self determination for the Igbo.
She said that today Kanu is in Prison and fighting for his life and could no longer move into the second phase.
The prophetess called on the Igbo to pray for God’s divine guidance in moving to the second phase and to enthrone leadership.
Her words; ” Mazi Nnamdi Kanu cannot help the Igbo. He has done his best for them in speaking up concerning the things that he saw happening; the fate of the Igbo. Look at him, he is now in the prison all by himself suffering and how many of you have helped him out. Now, he is fighting for his own life over there. This is just to show that he is only a human being like you. He helped you by speaking up, bringing awareness to the situation that you find yourself. But this thing is that your help can only come from Almighty God. Take it to God so that you can get justice for yourself because Kanu can no longer help you. Our God is the only one who can help you out and he cannot do that if the Igbo family do not come together. Each family should take up prayers, calling upon God through His son Jesus Christ to intervene on their behalf. It is still going to get worse if you don’t arise and begin to call to your God”, she stated.
