Rivers state Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara and President Bola Tinubu have earned the support of the people of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area.
The State Deputy Governor, Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu, disclosed this in a statement signed by his Head of Press, Owupele Benebo.
According to the statement, the people declared their total support for the duo when the deputy governor went to sensitise them on the ongoing e-registration exercise of APC, on Sunday, 4th January, 2026.
“Today, I came to sensitise the people, and everywhere we went, there were large crowds who came out to receive us. They said wherever I go, they will go with me, and wherever Governor Fubara and President Tinubu go, they will go. You can see the joy and happiness. I have touched all the six zones — Egi, Omoku, Osomini, Igburu, Egbema and Ndoni,” Prof. Odu stated.
The statement noted that the sensitisation exercise was to further strengthen the support base of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Siminalayi Fubara, pointing out that six zonal meetings had already been held to facilitate the actualisation of the plan.
It stated that a major highlight of the tour was the defection of the entire Labour Party members in Ndoni, who expressed delight at joining the APC family.
“The Deputy Governor, who completed her registration formalities at Akabuka, Ward 8, Unit 11, disclosed that the e-registration into the APC was ongoing, following the declaration of Governor Siminalayi Fubara into the party a few weeks ago”, the statement added.
