”Why has no effort been made to mediate in the herdsmen and farmers crisis that is taking many lives in Agbeta axis of Eleme and not even a statement has been issued by this government?
”Why hasn’t the fishing and agric produce distribution potential of the very narrow Kira to Baen road that runs through Tai, Gokana and Khana attracted one of those multibillion naira road contract awards being made in other parts of the state with non in the entire Ogoni axis?
”What about the pitiable state of the once prestigeous Ken Saro Wiwa Polytechnic and the Bori internal roads(one of which leads to the school). How long does it take to get the contractor back on site or re-award the contract.
”As convener of Ogoni Beyond Oil and Politics(B.O.P Ogoni), I feel the stigmatization and marginalization has moved from political to social, economic, academic and now administrative. Imagine, how many Ogonis are on all boards so far constituted particularly for basic education, senior secondary education and primary health management?
”Infact, Gokana LGA has no commissioner or Special adviser in Governor Fubara’s cabinet, 15 months into the administration. Worst still, the entire Ogoni as a whole has no top government position, yet no one is talking …haba”
‘
”Yes, I have many of my friends and comrades in the government but the comrade and activist in me forbids silence since they seem to have forgotten that injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere”, he said.
