Hon. (Dr.) Amb. Angela Anthony Oju-Kienmie is a distinguished and throughbred politician, patroitic citizen, french teacher, translator and writer. Also, an environmentalist and public health professional, whose untiring efforts to ensure a safe environment and healthy society has endeared her to many. She is a detribalised Nigerian whose life is characterised by accountability, resilience, honesty, integrity, – meeting the needs of the people in her constituency and beyond. The period of time she served as Vice Chairman and Supervisor for Health in Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area, which she always attribute to the ‘Finger of God’, was marked by love for the people, Peace, good leadership and governance. She turns 52 today! And for this woman of impact, the day must be celebrated with moderate fanfare.
