Business mogul and philanthropist, Chief Dumo-LuLu Briggs attended the promotion thanksgiving service of Rear Admiral Pakiribo Anabraba.
The thanksgiving service which held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Salvation Arena Mega parish in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital, on Sunday, also had in attendance top military personnel, captains of industry, relations and friends.
The reception ceremony was graced by the Secretary to Rivers state Government, Chief Tammy Danagogo, King Disreal Gbobo Bobmanuel, the Amayanabo of Abonnema and Chairman of the Akuku Toru Council of Chiefs and Traditional rulers, Chief Ferdinand Anabraba and men from all walks of life.
Speaking at the service, Lulu-Briggs congratulated Anabraba on his elevation to the rank of Rear Admiral in the Nigerian Navy.
He commended him for thanking God, stating that some people who are promoted don’t remember to come and give thanks to God.
Speaking further, the philanthropist announced a donation of N10million to the parish.
In his speech, Rear Admiral Anabraba described his promotion as a gift from God
” It is not because I am special but God had mercy on me. So, today I have.come to return all glory to Him”, he said.
