A group under the aegis of Agbor professionals business Group in Delta state, has faulted the suspension of the Central Bank Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele.
In a statement issued by its coordinator Mr.Tony Ugbeji, on Saturday, the group stated that “We believe this is a case of witch hunting”.
It further stated that the suspension will not help stabilize the nation’s financial sector.
“This can make foreign investors not have so much faith in our economy.
“We call on the government to do their investigation without resulting in unnecessary highhandedness.
“We also call on our people to remain calm as Emefiele will come clean”, the statement read.
