There was commotion at the national secretariat of All Progressives Congress(APC) in Abuja on Thursday as security men and party supporters scrambled for a N50,000 cash gift from Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi.
Metronetworknews gathered that Governor Umahi had gone to visit the APC national Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, few days after his screening by the Presidential Screening committee at Abuja.
It learnt that after the visit the governor headed straight to his car and threw a pack of money to scrambling party supporters and security officials which resulted in free-for-all.
Governor Umahi is one of the 23 presidential hopefuls under the platform of APC.
