President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of new Chief Executives for education agencies.
This was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Director, Press and Public Affairs, Federal Ministry of Education.
According to the statement, Professor Akpama Simon will serve as the new Executive Secretary, National Commission for Mass Literacy, Adult and Non-Formal Education.
Prof.(Mrs) Chinwe Veronica Anunobi, is appointed as the Director/CEO of the National Library while Prof. Musa Garba Maitafsir is the new Director/CEO, National Teachers Institute.
Similarly, Prof. Bashir H.Usman has been appointed the Executive Secretary, National Commission For Nomadic Education also for a second and final tenure of Five(5) years.
The three “appointments were effective 2nd of September, 2021 with an initial tenure of five (5) years.
