Bread price will increase by fifteen percent in Rivers State from tomorrow, the Chairman of Master Bakers, Chidi Orlu, has disclosed.
The chairman who disclosed this while speaking in an interview with newsmen stated that the hike followed the rising price of materials for bread production.
He said, ” without a price review, Rivers people may not see bread to eat, as bakers may be out of business”.
Dr Orlu also advised bread consumers to buy from bakeries to save costs.
