A 300-level Biochemistry female student of the University of Port Harcourt, Otuene Justina Nkang, who had been reported missing has been allegedly butchered to death by her boy friend, identified as Collins, in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital.
It was gathered that the man reportedly killed the girl in his home situated at at Road 15, NTA Road in the oil-rich city.
The mutilated body of the deceased was said to have been found by his estate security personnel when the suspect was trying to dispose it.
It was learnt that some residents of the estate who stormed the suspect’s apartment after the security team raised the alarm,also discovered her dismembered body parts in bloody sacks.
When contacted, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Grace Iringe-Koko, a), said the Commissioner of Police would address the press on the development by 12 p.m. on Thursday.
