Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze has urged the management team of the Rivers State University, to properly scrutinize former Commissioner for Special Duties, Zaccheaus Adangor before re-absorbing him.
This is as Governor Siminalaye Fubara took a swipe at Adangor, describing him as a saboteaur.
The governor who lambasted Adangor while speaking at the swearing in of Mr Dagogo Israel Iboroma, SAN, as the new Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice of the State at Government House in Port Harcourt on Monday, alleged that Adangor indulged in sabotaging his administration as the chief law officer of the State.
His words, “It is good that you were already a SAN before your appointment. This means that you’re a very thorough lawyer and has earned your appointment. Not like the one we had here, who while in office, they went to pay money to get SAN. When you become a SAN, the only thing you will do is to sabotage government.
On his part, Eze said that his call on the institution to subject Adangor to a special investigation panel was to ascertain his fitness to be reabsorbed into the university staff cadre as lecturer and also owing to his poor media outing with Channels TV where he made uncomplimentary comments against the Governor which are unbefitting to the a person of his status in the legal profession.
”The Rivers State University should subject Zacchaeus Adangor to a retinue of extensive scrutiny before reabsorbing him as a Teaching Staff for His abrasive display of dishonesty and rude behavior on National TV.”
Eze recalled that ‘the former Special Duties Commissioner deliberately misinterpreted the law to suit his bootlicking status as a fief to Wike, his overlord, saying, ‘His poor outing laced with fictitious assertions is enough to declare him a persona non grata in the institution as his dented moral fiber is inclined to corrupt young undergraduates who look up to their lecturers as models, for guidance”.
