A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), and former National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP), Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has described the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barr. Nyesom Wike, as a true definition of an ingratitude and a betrayer.
Chief Eze was reacting to a recent claim by Wike, that the former Rivers State Governor, and immediate past Transportation Minister, Rt. Hon. (Barr.) Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi (CRA), has become “a shadow of himself” in Nigeria’s political terrain.
In a statement at the weekend, Chief Eze reminded Wike that Amaechi is far too refined in all ramifications to condescend so low to join issues with him.
“Amaechi is too decent, religious and civilized to stoop low to banter words with Wike, a man synonymous with motor park and gutter politics.
“Based on Wike’s antecedents and crude-styled politics, majority of Nigerians know him as ingratitude and betrayer personified. He wants everybody to bow before him.
“Is there any basis to compare Amaechi to Wike? Certainly no. Amaechi made Wike his Chief of Staff, and also nominated him as a Minister before paving way for him to become Rivers State Governor.
“The records are there; honestly, Wike can never in his lifetime, no matter his insults, blackmail and position today, attempt to alter, delete or even surpass Amaechi’s father-figure role in his political career, Eze stated.
The ADC stalwart noted that Wike is being tolerated by the All Progressives Congress and President Bola Tinubu because of his nuisance value in rocking the boat he cruised to political limelight.
“Today, both the APC, President Tinubu and his undemocratic eggheads are aware of Wike’s nuisance value and that is the reason they are tolerating his excesses.
“Wike climbed the rungs of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ladder to where he is today. Yet, the same man, true to his nature, connived with the APC leaders to destroy the PDP for egocentric reasons, Eze said.
Contrary to Wike’s claim that he is more powerful than Amaechi, the erstwhile spokesperson of the defunct nPDP, swiftly deflated the FCT Minister’s “overbloated ego”, by telling him that he is not even fit in his wildest dreams to untie the strap of Amaechi’s sandals talk less of wearing it.
“On what way is Wike better than AmaechI” Eze querried, stressing that the fact that Amaechi had refused to be engaged in a struggle that would spill the blood of Rivers State indigenes like the way Wike did, does not make him less powerful.
“Pouring unwarranted invectives on Amaechi, your God-sent Master, will not cause you to change from your chameleonic traits and tag as betrayer of the first order, Eze stated.
He maintained that no matter what, “Amaechi will always remain Wike’s boss, soul provider and path finder till eternity”.
The ADC chieftain wondered why Wike will think he is better than Amaechi, after destroying all that the former Transportation Minister under the Muhammadu Buhari administration, had built while serving as Governor of Rivers State.
“All Amaechi feats in education, agriculture, health sectors etc in Rivers State were all destroyed by the Wike administration due to selfishness, stupidity and wickedness.
“Even now as FCT Minister, apart from your nuisance value, what makes you to be better than Amaechi, a man whose feats at the national level can’t and will not be achieved by you, Eze asked Wike.
He reminded Wike that he has virtually insulted and bitten all the fingers that fed him on his way to political limelight.
“Who is it that made you that you have not insulted; Is it Dr. Peter Odili and his wife, or former President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife who imposed you on Rivers State as Governor that you have not insulted or is it the PDP that you didn’t know how it was formed, that today you have made a toilet tissue paper, Eze asked.
Eze, therefore dared Wike to publish his bibliography, vowing to publicly kneel down and apologize to Wike on national television, if Amaechi’s name does not feature prominently in the publication.
“I dare Wike to author a book on his forays in politics. I will publicly kneel down and apologize to Wike on national television, if Amaechi’s name does not feature prominently in the publication, Eze vowed.
“Wike cannot write a book without mentioning the role of Amaechi in his life. If he dared to do so, then, he would have packaged a litany of lies, lies and lies.
“Amaechi has gone far away from you, both academically, politically and most importantly in knowing God.
“For all that you caused Rivers State and her people, your rewards await you sooner or later, Eze assured Wike.
Meanwhile, the ADC Chieftain has reiterated that Tinubu will be voted out because of the likes of Wike in his government, who contributed immensely in delivering record bad democratic governance to Nigerians.
Recall that Wike had stated that, “Again, I have to remind Rotimi Amaechi of reality…
“He is now a shadow of himself. He was once a governor; I defeated him from outside.
“He became a minister and was treated like a son to Muhammadu Buhari.
“Even with the backing of almost all the battalions in the Army, I still defeated him in my second term.
“I singlehandedly installed the same boy misbehaving today as governor—and still, Amaechi could do nothing.”
Eze describes Wike’s outburst above as that of a drowning man who have lost all the organs of reasoning.
