3 native doctors remanded in prison

The native doctors, Chidozie Nwangwu, popularly known as Akwa Okuko Tiwara Ki, Onyebuchi Okocha, also known as “Onyeze Jesus,” and Ekene Igboekweze, known as “Eke Hit”, who were arraigned before Justice Jude Obiorah on Friday, were accused of preparing protective charms for criminals and engaging in money rituals.

Their arraignment follows their arrest and detention about a month ago.

However, the accused persons pleaded not guilty to the charges when they were read to them.

Justice Onuorah ordered that the defendants be remanded at the state facility, and the case was adjourned to April 11, 2025.
