Former National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP), Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has told ex Abia state governor, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu ‘to be man enough and confront Bola Ahmed Tinubu with the stark reality on ground caused by his woeful and clueless performance as President of Nigeria’.
Eze stated this in a statement in reaction to a comment credited to Kalu, blaming politicians for the upsurge in banditry, kidnapping and all forms of criminalities ravaging the country at present, on Monday.
“Orji Uzor Kalu should be bold and patriotic enough to tell Tinubu, hook, line and sinker that Nigeria is sitting on a keg of gunpowder and hopelessly bleeding under his nose.
“What Tinubu needs now is visionary, truthful and proactive friends, and not lilly-livered politicians who speak from both sides of their mouths just to curry political favour.
“Proffer solutions to the spate of kidnapping, killings and wanton destruction of lives and property going on in the country despite collosal sums of monies being expended by the Federal Government in the name of fighting insecurity rather than apportioning blame”, Eze stated.
He recalled that the Senator had in an interview on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, asserted that the pattern of attacks suggests a political agenda rather than random criminal activity.
“For a man in the calibre of Orji Uzor Kalu, to level such a “disgraceful and unsubstantiated” allegation goes to show a “high display of sycophancy, eye service and betrayal of the highest order” that have characterized some politicians in the country’s political circle.
“How could a sane mind, not suffering from political hallucination assume that the opposition politicians are sponsoring bandits and violence to destabilize President Bola Tinubu’s administration, Chief Eze queried.
He also told Adams Oshiomhole who shares similar position with Senator Kalu that “it is the blood of innocent and defenceless Nigerians slaughtered as a result of this administration’s zero solution to insecurity, and prayers of the Saints that attracted the attention of the world over the insecurity in Nigeria.
“My dear Senators Kalu and Oshiomhole, what is happening in our country is not a calculated violence, but an indicator that President Tinubu has failed totally to protect Nigerians.
“He has no solution to the security challenges bedevilling Nigeria at present. He is clueless and this is disgraceful. Advise him and don’t blame anybody.
“There is nothing like part of a calculated attempt to destabilise President Bola Tinubu’s administration. Go and advise him to sit up and protect Nigerians. He should face governance rather than setting eyes on 2027, when he has failed woefully as a President”.
Eze challenged both the Abia state former Governor and his Edo counterpart to name the sponsors of insecurity in Nigeria, stressing that their decline to name those involved, is an act of sheer cowardice and means that they are privy to what is going on in the country.
“Name them if you know them. If you know them, then you are part of them. Who are these politicians that are bent on ensuring Tinubu fails in office just as they allegedly tried to undermine former President Goodluck Jonathan.
“It is unfortunate that Senators Kalu and Oshiomhole instead of addressing the issue surrounding the security challenges facing Nigeria, preferred to blame the opposition politicians within and outside Nigeria without having the boldness to name those that he has in mind, Eze said.
The media czar therefore urged Nigerians to ignore Senators Kalu and Oshiomhole and their misguided stand, restating that it was the blood of thousands of innocent Nigerians that were slaughtered by the sponsors of terrorism and their collaborators which the Federal Government have refused to name and confront that have cried to God for his intervention.
Besides, Eze noted that the sad conditions of millions of Nigerians that have been sacked from their communities and kept in the IDP camps in a very horrible state that are crying to God on daily basis is what God heard and decided to alert Trump to raise alarm over the situation of Nigerians under the spinless leadership of President Tinubu.
“Apart from these facts, the prayers of the children of God against the evil happenings in this country have been answered by the intervention of the USA and not by any collective attempt of any opposition political platform”, the former National Publicity Secretary stated.
Eze further highlighted that the spirit of Karma is also operational knowing very well the key role that Tinubu and others played in the ouster of President Jonathan using the present happenings in the country against that administration.
“Regrettably, instead of President Tinubu addressing the issues of governance, he is busy plotting on how to install one party system in the country thereby making himself as many other similar dictators sole candidate in the 2027 general election.
“God in answer to the cries of Nigerians over the maladministration of this government has to find a way to expose and ensure that Tinubu becomes a one tenure President.
“Nigerians have suffered enough in the hands of this clueless Leader and must unite to ease off this evil administration and not minding the likes of Senators Oshiomhole and Kalu, who have decided to be Media Chiefs to a President the entire world now knows he doesn’t have what it takes to be the President of this country at this period” Eze said.
