The 33rd Combined Convocation ceremony for the award of diplomas, first degrees, postgraduate diplomas, higher degrees, honorary degrees and prize presentation earlier scheduled to hold on the 1st and 2nd of April, 2022, has been postponed by the Management of the University of Port Harcourt.
A statement signed by the Registrar, Dr Gloria Chindah conveyed this message to the public.
The statement stated that the Vice Chancellor, Professor Georgewill regrets the inconveniences this new development might have caused the public, graduands, their parents, sponsors, the stakeholders and esteemed invited guests.
It added that a new date would be communicated in due course.
Although no reason was given for the postponement, it may not be unconnected with the ASUU strike.
