The former Deputy National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) and member, PDP Board of Trustees, Chief Bode George, today, said in an interview on a national television station that the All Progressives Congress(APC) national leader, Chief Bola Tinubu remained the greatest headache in politics in Nigeria.
He accused Tinubu of orchestrating a handover of PDP party machinery to his chosen loyalists who could be trusted to share his value and be attentive to his interest.
The former Deputy Chairman stated that Tinubu’s deft moves to plant moles in the party was responsible for the leadership crisis in PDP.
On Tinubu chances in 2023, George said Tinubu is not the kind of man to rule Nigeria.
” If you take his 8 years rulership in Lagos and put on a scale between 1-10, how would you judge him? It is not more than 1. We’re still talking about the way he misruled Lagos state. The Alpha Beta that he is using to drain the treasury of lagos state is still on. He is paid about 30 something billion naira for the toll gate and the lagos state government is coming out now to say they have taken over the full control of the toll gate. Is that the kind of man to rule Nigeria? No way”.
