The seven mysteries in the Bible (Part 7)
Today, by the special grace of God, we shall look at the mystery number six in the Bible.
(6) The mystery of religious whore:
This is the mystery revealed to the apostle John the beloved (not the apostle Paul).
Let us read:
Revelation 17:5 KJV “And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”
This woman joins to the state (the government of the day). This religious whore has been around and will be extended to the tribulation period.
This religious whore is a false church that started when the true church started as for every genuine, there is always a counterfeit.
The anti-Christ will use this false church. It is a mystery.
She is both the religious whore and political whore joining to the state. She has so many churches – Revelation 17:7, 9 KJV “And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.”
By the special grace of God, next week we shall look at the number seven mystery of God in the Bible. It is going to be the last in studying the seven mystery of God in the Bible. Meet you next in Jesus Name.
