Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan on Wednesday raised a petition under Order 40,against the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, accusing him of sexual harassment, abuse of office and malicious obstruction of her legislative functions.
In her speech before asking to step forward to lay the petition, Senator Natasha said that she decided to narrow her statements on Arise Television, in a formal petition against the Senate President.
The Senate referred the petition to the Committee on Ethics, Privileges, and Code of Conduct for further investigation.
