The Senate has confirmed the Kaduna State nominee, Abbas Balarabe, who fainted during his screening on Wednesday.
The Senate also confirmed the duo of Dr. Jamila Ibrahaim and Ayodele Olawande who were nominated as Minister of Youths and Minister of State for Youths, respectively.
It was gathered that Balarabe, the second nominee to undergo screening had just finished sharing his experiences when he collapsed, approximately 15 minutes into his screening at the Senate plenary.
It also gathered that during the interrogation, Lawal, who was obviously exhausted, abruptly passed out and concerned senators raced to his aid and promptly dialed for help.
The senate president was said to have also asked the cameramen to leave the chamber as the senators tried to help Abbas to a seat.
The ministerial nominee was also said to have been taken to the hospital at the time this report was filed but his condition remains unknown.
