The national chairman of the Peoples Democratic party(PDP), Kabiru Turaki, has called on President Donald Trump to come and save democracy in Nigeria.

The national chairman who made the call while reacting to the clash between Wike and Makinde’s factions at the PDP secretariat, Abuja, on Tuesday, said, “what is at stake is not just only genocide against Christians but also democracy is under threat.
” I want to call on President Tump to come and save democracy in Nigeria. What is at stake is not just genocide against our Christians. Democracy is under threat.
” We are willing to lay down our lives to protect democracy”, he said.
Speaking further, he accused the minister of the federal capital Territory, Nyesom Wike of conniving with the police to cause mayhem at the party’s secretariat.
He lamented that the police despite assuring him that they will do whatever possible to protect and guarantee safe passage of only bonafide members of party into its secretariat, they still granted Wike, who has been declared personae non grata and expelled from the party, access.
” I cannot understand how a serving minister of the federal republic of Nigeria will lead armed thugs and then with the active connivance of the police to come and create mayhem here”, he stated.
He alleged that some members of the party were shot while serving and past governors, national assembly and board of trustee members teargased by the police.
