President of the National Youth Council of Ogoni People (NYCOP), Comrade Nwibani Raymond Marcus has hailed the Project Coordinator of Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project (HYPREP) ,Prof Nenibarini Zabbey over series of completed projects aimed at alleviation poverty in Ogoniland
This was contained in a statement by the Special Adviser to NYCOP President on Media and Publicity, Comr. Kpaedee, Felix Samuel.
The statement read; ”The positive attitude of the Project Coordinator, Prof. Nanibarini Zabbey, makes this difficult project so much more manageable and far reaching, his enthusiasm and commitment in achieving his goals are topnotch which has been manifested in series of completed projects geared to alleviating the people’s plight and placing them to a purposeful driven venture.
”Following the track records of the Project Coordinator, we know he (Zabbey) won’t settle for less and he won’t stop at nothing until he has achieve his goals.
”His numerous achievements since he took over as Project Coordinator of HYPREP speaks for itself and we don’t want him to halt or hamper this accelerating path he is currently on.
”Ogoni youths will be very pleased to see their yearnings and expectations met while he still serves as the Project Coordinator of HYPREP.
”We make bold to say that Ogoni youths are happy with the level of work done so far after a critical and thorough assessment of his performances.
”The over 5000 Ogoni youths trained and the lifelivehood program stand as a testament to that regards,
”It’s worthy of note to see how he has prioritized the active involvement of our youths who are seen as the strength of any society that wants to survive and grow in all facets.
”We earnestly appeal that the 20% pay rise and starter packs already agreed upon be given to them.
”We know more glorious days awaits Ogoni youths”.
It would be noted that HYPREP’S core mandate is attending to the economic, social and environmental challenges plaguing communities damaged by hydrocarbon pollution.
Part of its mandate cuts across the transformation of lives, to rejuvenate lost hope and to improve the environment through her laid down plans.
