The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed 753 news cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
A breakdown of the new cases from 14 states shows that Lagos is at the top of the daily statistics with 364 cases, followed by Akwa Ibom with 141.
According to the statistics, Oyo recorded 74, Rivers 46, Abia 38, Ogun 24 and Kwara 20.
Also, FCT 12, Ekiti 10, Delta 9, Edo 6, Plateau 5, Imo 3 and Bayelsa 1.
According to NCDC, six states had zero cases. They include, Kaduna, Kano, Nasarawa, Ondo, Osun and Sokoto.
Following this development, Nigeria now has 180,661 confirmed cases with 166,560 discharged and 2,200 deaths.
